Let’s Get Social!

Spent 40 minutes on the telephone today with HMRC, unfortunately less than 5 minutes were actually spent in conversation with a revenue employee. This is progress!!

The subject matter was a tax refund which was being delayed because of an oustanding unpaid amount.

However a different HMRC tax office resolved a similar matter by offsetting the amounts and issuing a refund without the delay.

WHY are HMRC unable to apply common sense and treat clients with integrity.
